He has been awarded the first UNESCO Chair in Anticipatory Systems, is fellow of WAAS—World Academy of Art and Science and STIAS—Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study. Roberto Poli is editor-in-chief of Axiomathes (Springer), editor of the series Categories (De Gruyter) and Anticipation Science (Springer). Poli heads the Master program in Social Foresight and coordinates the Life project FRANCA. He has edited the Handbook of Anticipation (Springer, 2019), published six books, edited or co-edited more than 20 books or journals’ special issues and published more than 250 scientific papers. He is President of AFI-Associazione dei Futuristi Italiani (Association of Italian Futurists) and -skopìa, a start-up of the University of trento offering professional anticipatory services.
