Dr. Eva Ritter – Fellow

Dr. Eva Ritter

Is an open-minded researcher, lecturer and cross-cultural project manager who
considers education, creativity and diversity as important means for the necessary
transformation facing society.

Trained as a geo-ecologist with a Ph.D. in forest ecology, she is used to thinking in
systems, processes and interdependencies. An advocate of life-long learning, she
added a M.A. in Education and Sustainability. Her research focuses on the
significance of cultural values. Currently the director of Nordic Info, she includes
questions of sustainability in her work with Nordic culture and cooperation. A member
of the board of the Nordic Folk School in Kungälv (Sweden) and the association
Future e.V. – Education for Sustainable Development in Schleswig-Holstein
(Germany); recipient of fellowships from the Leverhulme Trust and the Konrad-
Adenauer-Foundation.
